Applicant Queue

Rose & Daffodil Grants Only

To ensure a clear, timely, and purposeful application process, we ask all applicants pursuing a Rose or Daffodil Grant to join our queue prior to receiving access to our application. We release prospective applicants from the waitlist in monthly cohorts of 30-40 organizations, depending on capacity.

Queue Eligibility

What to know before you register for the waitlist.

  • Eligible partners must provide direct service to community members in Oregon and/or Washington State, with clear applications to arts, creativity, education, mentorship, health, and/or well-being.

  • We value and prioritize equity and inclusion, an expect the same from our partners. You can learn more about our policies here, prior to registering.

  • This means that it has been at least twelve (12) months since your last award, all grant funds have been expensed, and a grant report has been submitted. Exceptions to this policy exist only for specialty grant programs, such as Marie’s Birthday Award.

How it Works

If you have questions about the process along the way, we’re here to help. Email us at grants@marielamfrom.org with any questions or accommodations.

  • After confirming that you’re eligible, you can register using the link below.

Please note - joining the waitlist does not guarantee an organization the opportunity to submit an LOI or application. We reserve the right to make future changes to our grantmaking process and procedures to better serve our partners and the Foundation, and these could impact the use of or need for the waitlist.

  • We will update the waitlist monthly, and registrants will know their position in the queue. Those nearer the top will have an estimated ‘access to LOI’ date shared with them on the website.

  • You don’t need to wait to have access to start drafting your responses and preparing necessary documentation. View our questions and/or requirements of both the LOI and application here anytime.

  • As you move up the queue, we encourage you to be mindful of the deadlines in place for your cohort. We will share these with you when you are invited off of the waitlist and you can view them here.

  • We want you to submit when you’re ready. If the time comes to apply and you aren’t quite ready, you will have the option to postpone the process up to two times.
