Join us this year as we support hardworking Oregon nonprofit teams with invitations for rest, recreation, and community on the Oregon Coast.

Our 2026 Focus

Rest, Recreation, and Community

This year, we are partnering with nonprofits across Oregon to support their teams behind the work — the people who show up every day in service of their communities. In recognition of their tireless efforts, we’re creating opportunities for rest, relaxation, and connection.

In partnership with Explore Lincoln City’s Finders Keepers program — and in honor of Marie’s 130th birthday — we’re making donations to nonprofit partners each time a special “Marie Lamfrom” float is discovered and reported along the beaches of Lincoln City.

Details

This year’s focus is on supporting hardworking nonprofit teams with invitations for rest, recreation, and community. For some organizations, this may look like time together on the Oregon Coast — stepping away from day-to-day demands to reconnect, reflect, and recharge. For others, it may support staff wellness in ways that best meet their needs, whether on the coast or closer to home.

Participating organizations are invited to take part through our partnership with Explore Lincoln City and are each connected to one or more glass floats. When a float is found, a donation is made to that organization — helping create space for rest and renewal for the people behind the mission.

For the love of the Oregon coast

Marie Lamfrom found joy and restoration at the Oregon Coast. Its wide-open spaces, fresh air, and natural beauty offered a sense of calm and renewal – something we hope to pass on to the people who care for Oregon’s communities every day.

Explore Lincoln City

We are so glad to be partnering for the third time with our friends at Explore Lincoln City and their Finder’s Keepers program. Explore Lincoln City serves as a resource for Lincoln City’s tourism industry and promoting the area for visitation through a variety of strategic initiatives. Questions

  • All approved participants will receive some award. Donation amounts will vary and won’t be finalized until registration is complete. However, participants can expect contributions between $1,000 - $15,000.

  • This year, all participating organizations have been thoughtfully nominated by MLCF staff. There is no open application process, and self-nominations are not accepted.

  • The Marie Lamfrom specialty floats are mostly green and white and the only floats that will have a specialty sticker on them for the program. While it is possible that you may find another float in your search, odds are good that any mostly-green float found in the month of June is a Marie Lamfrom participating float.

  • We want to encourage all participants and community members to get out and support one another. While you won’t know which float is ‘yours’, it is still possible that you will discover your own float! If you find one, register it!

  • Congratulations! Please register your float here on the Explore Lincoln City registration page.

  • We receive our final discovery report from Explore Lincoln City on July 31! Find your float before July 31 to receive the optimal amount of funding.

We will work to issue partial funding to all participating organizations, even if your float isn’t found.

  • We’re happy to answer questions! You can send any and all questions to birthday@marielamfrom.org or call our office directly at (503) 877-3943.
